He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Jay and Mary Louise Brimmer Stephens; his stepfather Robert E. Givens; his stepsisters, Karon and Barb; and his grandson Miles Austin Dimmitt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Conner (Tony) of Robinson, IL, Christina Stephens of Robinson, IL, Dawn Cerar (Ryan) of Conroe, TX, Brittany Dimmitt (Brandon) of Hutto, TX and Nikki Wright (Adam Fager) of Carbondale; his sister Joy Nur of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Anthony, Brian Conner of Robinson, IL, Abigail, Anzleigh Cerar of Conroe, TX, Wesley Wright of Carbondale, Cora Fager of Carbondale, Alex Fager of Carbondale, Eli Wright of Carbondale and Cassian Dimmitt of Hutto, TX; his aunt Effie Brimmer of Carbondale; and his cousin Patti Fraley (Stuart) of Indianapolis, IN. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
