It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rose Mary Saupe of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry E. Cochran and Bernice Cochran (Weatherford). She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Saupe of Jacob; her daughters, Diane Korando (Dale) of Jacob, Janice Crain (Robert) of Ava and Paula Vogel (Jim Hand) of Murphysboro; her grandchildren, Nichole Smelter (Craig), Adam Korando (Cassie), Shannon Rieckenberg (Cody), Kimberly Korando (Steven Mikel), Corinne Vogel (Stephanie), Harley Hand (Olivia), Brandon Crain (Amelia) and Benjamin Vogel; her great grandchildren, Grace, Sophie, Thatcher, Berklee, Ryan, Emmett, Carter, Carsyn and Hudson; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Cochran and Ruth Boese. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (184 W Jacob Rd, Jacob, IL 62950). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob, or Lone Oak Cemetery and can be mailed to Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
