It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rolland Patch in Carbondale, Illinois, born in Smithshire, Illinois, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Patch and Esther Patch (Brent); his wife Joan Lang; his siblings, Harold Patch (Delores) and Elizabeth Ann Gerard (Don); and his grandson Sgt. Schuyler Patch.
He is survived by: his children, Dave Patch (Kathryn) of Hammond, OR, Jeff Patch (Jim Claussen) of San Francisco, CA, John Patch (Amy) of Neponset, IL and Lori Martin (Jeff) of Carbondale; and his grandchildren, Amber Patch Troxell (Brandon), Seth Patch, Danielle Lawrence, Robert Garrett, Drake Martin and Avery Martin. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
