It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Spain of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arvel R. Spain and Mary Wilma Spain (Roach); his wife Evelin F. Kahl; his children, Robert Spain, Jr. (Angie), Dagmar Alexander (David) and Jerri Spain; his grandchildren, Paige Alexander (Jake Linze) and Amelia Spain; his great grandchild Jordan; and his siblings, Earl Spain (Jane) and Linda Moon (Herbert).
In lieu of flowers memorials in Bob's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
