It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert P. Griffin in Carbondale, Illinois, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Griffin and Margaret Griffin (Crowe); his former wife Evelyn Anderson; and his siblings, George, Frank, Patricia and Maura.
He is survived by: his son Mark Griffin of Decatur, Alabama; his grandchildren, Shea Griffin, Timothy Griffin (Amber) and Jessica Miles of Decatur, Alabama; his great grandchildren, William and Oliver; his stepsons, Michael Warshawsky (Clare) and Jonathan Warshawsky (Shelley); his siblings, Jane Griffin of Long Island, Gerald Griffin (Linda) of Wallingford, Connecticut, Paul Griffin (Jacqueline) of Bedford and Kathleen Griffin of Wallingford, Connecticut.; and his close friend Joan O'Brien.
