He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hoagland and Gertrude Hoagland (Fox); and his niece Amy Kane. He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Laura Durudogan (Harun), Richard Hoagland (Lori) and Catherine Johnson (Rick); his grandchildren, Leigh Durudogan (Blake Arthurs), Adam Durudogan, Cate Durudogan, Maxwell Johnson, Sadie Johnson, Ava Hoagland and Colton Hoagland; and his siblings, Thomas Hoagland (Suzanna) and Suzy Titus (David).
