It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Philip L. Jackson (Carbondale, Illinois), who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jackson and Jewell Jackson (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Carol Jackson of Carbondale; his children, Kristian Jackson (Alecia) of Boone, NC, Benjamin Jackson (Alexis) of Portland, ME and Sarah Jackson (Christopher Shipman) of Greensboro, NC; his sister Sandalyn Barbre (Frank) of Carmi, IL; and his grandchildren, Silas Jackson, Jude Jackson, Finn Shipman and Acer Jackson.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois, the Humane Society of Southern Illinois, or the American Cancer Society.
