It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul W. Heagy of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Hopedale, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Heagy and Mary Graf Heagy; his wife Evelyn L. Schertz; and his daughter Elaine Heagy Murphy. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shauna Mifflin (Shawn), Glynn Murphy (Traci) and Michael Murphy (Janette); his great grandchildren, Magnolia Murphy and Madison Murphy; his son-in-law Brad Murphy (Sue) of Cape Coral, FL; and his brother-in-law David Schertz (Doris).
