Paul E. Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 73, Paul E. Carpenter of Carbondale, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren E. Carpenter and Reba Carpenter (McElmurray). He is survived by: his children, Paul Carpenter (Ruth) and Heather Gassel (Joseph); his grandchildren, Sonnia Stone (Justin), Hailley Dodd (Troy), Mercedes Kelley, Britney Barton and Brice Carpenter; his great grandchildren, Naomi Stone, Axel Rybacki and Theodore Minton; his brother John Carpenter; and his nephews, Mark Carpenter (Pat) and Michael Carpenter (Aurora).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Animal Shelter and/or the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
