He is survived by: his children, Sadie Smith (Jim) of Kirkwood, MO and Jacob Rodick (Karen) of Columbus, IN; his grandchildren, Seamus, Finley Smith and Lucia Rodick; his close friend Cynthia Flynn of Swansea, IL; his brother Phillip Rodick (Betsy) of Steamboat Springs, CO; his sister-in-law Jill Rodick of Kansas City, MO; and the mother of his children Cathy Lanter Shannon. He is also survived by niece and nephews.
