He was predeceased by: his father James Medlin-Guyon; and his stepfather John C. Guyon. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Medlin-Guyon (Marshall); his brothers, Stuart Medlin (Kelly) and Christopher Medlin; and his close friend Mary Hamilton. He is also survived by two nephews and a niece.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church (402 W Mill St, Carbondale, IL 62901).
Memorials may be made in Matthew's name to St. Francis Care Animal Shelter or St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
