She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Voss and Phyllis Voss; her nephews, Joshua and Richard; and her siblings-in-law, Steve and Margaret Carruthers.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffrey Carruthers; her children, Elizabeth (Brenden) and Michael Carruthers (Alisha); and her sister Janet Voss (Steve Chrispen).
A reception was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meredith Funeral Home (300 S University Ave, Carbondale, IL 62901).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Good Samaritan House or St. Francis Care Animal Shelter and will be accepted at the funeral home.
