She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Davis; her husband Carl T. Smoot; her mother DeLois Reynolds (Lingle); her grandson Tommy Kimmel; her sisters, Joyce Russo, Mary Ann Penrod and Darlene Lacey; and her close friend Noble "Toby" Barnette.
She is survived by: her children, DeLois Fisher of Vienna, James Kimmel (Joyce) of Vienna and Carla Foskey (Dale) of Cobden, Illinois; her grandchildren, Wade Stevens (Danielle) of Vienna, Misty D. Harris (Scott) of Vienna, Jacob Stevens of Vienna, Andrew Kimmel (Jennifer) of Vienna, Caleb Palmer (Harley) of Goreville and MaCayla Lara (Abe) of Cobden, Illinois; her sister Loretta Dittman of Buncombe, Illinois; and her brothers-in-law, Leon Penrod and Rodney Lacey. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home (705 N 1st St, Vienna, IL 62995).
