We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2023, at the age of 80, Marilyn Jean Annable of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Grace Syrett (Hartmann) and Alfred Syrett; her former husband Robert O. Brown; her husband John Annable of Carbondale; her daughters, Connie Morgan (Robert Andrew Morgan) of Bloomington, IL and Amy Brown of Pleasanton, CA; her stepchildren, Nancy Annable of Carterville, IL and Kirk Annable (Donna); her grandchildren, Molly Morgan of Chicago, IL, Ruthie Morgan of Terre Haute, IN, Megan Gofron of Pleasanton, CA and Wilson Gofron of Pleasanton, CA; her stepgrandsons, Tyler, Andrew Sheely of Carterville and Cody Annable of Effingham, IL.; and her siblings, Grace Lee Fulford (Carbondale) and James A. Syrett (Sunny) of Fort Myers, FL..

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Department at the First United Methodist Church.
