She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Stearns and Mabel Stearns; her former husband Franklin; her daughter Tina Marie; her grandson Joshua; and her siblings, Wilma, Lela, John Calvin, Frank, Richard and Randy.
She is survived by: her husband Frank; her children, Victoria Sprehe (Greg) of Marion, Jim Horn (Theresa) of Cobden, Tammy Streuter (John) of Carterville, Teresa Armit (Jeff) of Carbondale and Scott Horn (Angie) of Carterville; and her siblings, Robert Stearns (Marge), Betty King (Gilbert), Carol Forbes, Juanita Stein, Harry Stearns, Tom Stearns (Donna), George Stearns (Linda), Rosetta Casey, Nanusha Hammond, Dennis Stearns and Debra McNeill (Steve). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Given the current COVID restrictions services will be private.
It was Lyda's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Boskeydell Cemetery, c/o Tammy Streuter, 510 Canary Lane, Carterville, IL 62918.
