With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Mooney of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on November 23, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mooney and Eva Elizabeth Mooney (Eubanks). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Mooney of Carbondale; his daughter Jill Hennessey (Brian) of Carbondale; his granddaughters, Eve and Paige Hennessey; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Boyer of Sterling, Judy Boner (Deon) of Creal Springs, Debbie Boyer of Marion and Janet McDowell of Florida. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or donations may be made online at alz.org.
