She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hargis and Ida Hargis (Qualls); her siblings, Robert King, Grover Lemoin King, Ezra King, Rev. Kenneth King, Winifred Harris Webb and Nadine Hargis; her daughter Mary Beth Holyfield; and her sisters-in-law, Flora King, Ina King and LaDeana Davis.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Davis; her children, Debbie Linder (Richard) of Eldorado, Robert Hungate of Elizabethtown and Karla Hungate of Equality, Illinois; her grandchildren, Rebecca Albers (Scott) of Columbia, Jennifer Sapp of Eldorado, Wesley Creamer of Eldorado, Jamie Ellis (Andy) of McLeansboro, Jonathan Linder of Harrisburg, Jessica Hollowell (Gerald) of Evansville, Emily Watters (Josh) of Eldorado, Whitney Douthitt of Eldorado, Joseph Linder (Sarah) of Nevada, Willie Holyfield of Pinckneyville and Harley Holyfield of Pinckneyville, Illinois; her son-in-law Daren Holyfield; and her brothers-in-law, Jimmie Davis (Carolyn) and Robert Davis. She is also survived by her 30 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Colonial Terrace Funeral Home & Crematory (700 4th St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
