It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Rosalie Winget (Carbondale, Illinois), who passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Davis and Verna Mae Davis (Greer); her spouse Glenn O. Winget; her siblings, Laceen Davis, Billy Davis and Lillian Jean Needham; and her son-in-law Ron Simpkins.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Joyce Simpkins; her granddaughters, Lisa Stearns (Shawn) and Leann Biggerstaff (Barry); her great grandchildren, Stephanie Gladson (Bill), Emily Eisert (Charlie), Hilary Chandler (Collin) and Molly Stearns; her great great grandchildren, Paisley, Guthrie Eisert, Abner, Olin, Elliot Gladson and Raelynn Chandler; and her siblings, Charles Davis, Bonnie Pedigo, Dale Davis, Carol Davis, Junior Davis and Suzanne Hall. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
