We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2020, at the age of 87, Joy Janet Jarvis in Carbondale, Illinois, born in Princeton, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Hickrod and Mary Hickrod; her husband Harvey Edward Jarvis; and her siblings, Earl Cleveland, Max Hickrod, Jim Hickrod and Selma Howell.
She is survived by: her aunt Pearl Gage; her children, Stanley Jarvis (Chris) of Millstadt, Tony Jarvis (Debbie) of Millstadt and Kristi Jarvis of Columbia, Illinois; her brother Fred Gray of Las Vegas, Nevada.; her grandchildren, Jennifer Goetz (Rob) of Millstadt, Leslie Jarvis (Don) of Millstadt, T. J. Jarvis (Marta) of Millstadt, Haley Jarvis of Millstadt and Blake Jarvis of Millstadt; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Abigail Goetz and Brody Jarvis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Millstadt Senior Center, 102 S. Jefferson St., Millstadt, IL 62260 Per Joy's wishes, her body was cremated.
