It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johna Carol Fowler of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Cairo, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Johnnie LeeRoy Banks; her siblings, Tracy Elaine Banks, LaDonna K. Banks and James Christopher Fowler; and her godmother Henrietta Brook-Porter.
She is survived by: her mother Katie Mae Fowler; her son Torence Fowler (Darlena); her siblings, Johnnie Wayne Banks, Paula Ann Banks, Melissa Darlene Banks, Twala Collier and Jacqueline Evette Pruitt-Blan; her grandchild Gerold Lamar Logan; her aunt Ernestine Meeks; and her uncle Wilbert Fowler. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins' other relatives and friends.
