With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Wendell Futrell of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Carterville, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Futrell and Bertha Futrell (Jackson); his daughter Tracy Sanders; and his siblings, Gene Futrell, Thomas Futrell, William "Bill" Futrell, Sara Collins, Bonnie Mae Thomas and Lucy Oberheu.
He is survived by: his son Jason Futrell (Michelle Krcmar) of Carbondale; his grandchildren, Nick Sanders (Stephanie Hudson), Sarah Sanders, Caleb, Lauren and Madison Futrell; and his son-in-law Matt Sanders.
