He is survived by: his mother Badrieh Lary (Zafaranian) of Carterville; his daughter Dr. Sara Lary; his child-in-law Leonel Pena Woolff of Richland, WA; his daughter Heidi Kar; his child-in-law Sourav Kar of Atlantic Highlands, NJ; his former wife Marilyn Lary; his siblings, Ali Lary of Carterville, Zohreh Shahrodi (Freydoon) of Beaumont, TX, Mahvash Monjazeb (Farshad) of Boulder, CO and Mahnaz Lary (Alireza Fouladi) of Bellingham, WA; his nieces, Leala, Rana, Sanaz, Sanam and Hana; and his nephew Rosstin.
