He is survived by: his son Howard Hilton; his granddaughter Betty Lue; his sister Ruby; his daughter Melissa Lucile "Lucy" (E. Bane); his grandson Brian Michael "Mickey"; his great grandchildren, Coleman, Mason, Laura Lee and Xander; and his siblings, Hilton and Betty (Jerrell).
He had a long battle with the effects of COVID which he contracted in December 2020.
