Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Helen Louise Moon (Carbondale, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 75, on March 18, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Crane and Pruella Crane (Dietz); and her brother Richard Crane. She is survived by: her husband Larry Moon of Murphysboro; her daughters, Laurie Strobl (Gary) of Willisville and Kelly Martin (Joe) of Willisville; her siblings, Jim Crane of De Soto, Liz Stuva (Roger) of Murphysboro and Sandy Richards (Bob) of Murphysboro; and her grandchildren, Colton Strobl and Kolbie Martin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Helen Moon Scholarship Fund at Carbondale Community High School's athletic department and will be accepted at the school or funeral home.
