With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glenn L. Winstead of Carbondale, Illinois, born in Cobden, Illinois, who passed away on January 18, 2024 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. "Roy" Winstead and Ruby Hazel Winstead (Sinks); his wife Geraldine Winstead; and his sisters, Ruth Grear and Helen Morey.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Betty Hutton (Marvin); and his friends, Patsy and Richard McCleland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Limestone Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
