It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia R. Miller of Carbondale, Illinois, born in De Soto, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Beasley and Estella Beasley (Jacquot); her husband Alexander Miller; and her sisters, Jane Breeden, Ella Mae Jones and Betty Tackitt.
She is survived by: her children, George Miller (Brenda) of Carterville, Richard Miller (Madeline) of Carbondale, Thomas Miller (Susan) of Marion, Iris Ketzle (Dale) of Carbondale and Christine Shirley (David) of Carbondale. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and twelve step-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Georgia's name to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Murphysboro and will be accepted at the funeral home.
