It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Lindsey (Carbondale, Illinois), born in Creal Springs, Illinois, who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lindsey and Emma Lindsey (Cowsert); his siblings, Shirley Lindsey, Patsy Bozarth, Henry Lindsey, Barney Lindsey and Billy Lindsey; and his brothers-in-law, James and Fred Wild.
He is survived by: his wife Leatha Joe Wild; his children, Steve, Kevin and Debbie; his siblings, Della Mae Clark, Mary Clark, Everett Lindsey and Robert Lindsey; and his siblings-in-law, Lloyd, Shirley Wild and Beth Wild (Don Buckley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in George's name to St. Francis Care Animal Shelter and will be accepted at the funeral home.
