He was predeceased by: his parents, James Albert and Dianne Kirk (Anderson). He is survived by: his brother Jon Paul Kirk; his sister-in-law Alison of Carbondale; his sister Kathie (Mike Lorentz); his nieces and nephews, Gregory, Jamie Lorentz of Carterville, Danielle of Carbondale, Logan Jeralds of Carbondale and Paige Rose Kirk of Carbondale; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cameron Lingfelter and Lillian Lorentz of Carterville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home of Carbondale (112 S Poplar St, Carbondale, IL 62901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105, or to any charitable organization of choice.
