With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorris Frey (Carbondale, Illinois), born in Carterville, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2020 at the age of 102. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorris Frey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Roberts and Seva Roberts (McBride); her husband Don Frey; her son Lindell E. Barrell; and her brothers, Lowell Roberts and Ray Roberts.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Patricia Barrell of Carbondale; and her siblings, Kenneth Roberts (Delores) of Creal Springs and Mary Dixon (Howard) of Carbondale. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
DUE TO HEALTH CONCERNS RELATED TO THE COVID-19 VIRUS AND BY THE SIGNING OF EXECUTIVE ORDER BY GOVERNOR J. B. PRITZKER, a private burial will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
