The memory of Donna J. Rice of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilburn Schnoeker and Nora Schnoeker (Bierman); her husband Charles Dale Rice; and her siblings, Leland, Dale, E. Jean Schroeder and Arlene Lampe.

She is survived by : her children, Scott Rice (Bridget) of Makanda, IL, Stacy Longoria (Jesse) of Ocala, FL and Sherri Rice of Burke, VA; her grandchildren, Jessica Schmelzel (Thomas), Clinton Rice (Kelsey), Willow Longoria, Chloe Longoria, Isabella Longoria and Sophia McCullers; and her great grandchildren, Lydia, Grant, Isaac, Lucy, Maggie, William and Nora.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 12th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark's Lutheran Church (105 N Garfield St, Steeleville, IL 62288). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
