He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clarence "Bump" and Mary Ethel Hawthorne (McKinney); and his wife Joyce Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, Christina Hawthorne-Tripp of DeSoto, Rebecca Hicks (Tim) of DeSoto and Tim Hawthorne of DeSoto; his granddaughter Brittany Hawthorne of Carterville; his children, Kyle Tripp of Murphysboro, Keegan Tripp of Denver, CO, Joshua Hicks (Crystal) of DeSoto, Jordan Hicks of Johnston City, Jaxson Hawthorne, Hatilyn Holmes and Crue Hawthorne; his great grandchild Aiden Hawthorne; his grandchildren, Ava Hawthorne, Logan Wright, Elizabeth Wright and Layne Hicks; and his cousin Brenda Nehring of Albuquerque, NM.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of love may be directed to the Murdale Baptist Church and/or Shriners Children's Hospital.
