Denise L. Barr-Szaro Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 2, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Denise L. Barr-Szaro of Carbondale, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Edgar and Gladys Lorene Barr (Bell). She is survived by: her husband Mark Duane Szaro; her brother James Everett Barr (Pat); her mother-in-law Joy Elaine Szaro; her sister-in-law Elaine Marie Szaro; her nieces and nephews, Lynette Overton, Sherri Ripley, Ryland R. Belcher and Grayden Belcher; and her cousin Anna McGinty.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pate Funeral Home (301 S Main St, Benton, IL 62812). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Baptist Church in Murphysboro for the church camp and will be accepted at the funeral home.
