Carolyn Saunders Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Saunders of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on June 17, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Karl Malzahn and Alta Malzahn; her sister Barbara Conley; her nephews, Karl D (Lisa) and James E.; her niece Carol Lyn Conley (Leeman); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan M. Conley, Joseph K. Conley (Abby), Conley S. Leeman, Robert R. Leeman, Reese J. Clark (RJ) and Brandy Antonacci; her uncle Buck; her siblings-in-law, Gayla Eberhart (Mike) and Thomas Saunders (Sharon); and also, Donn, Joan Carsrud, Wine Tasting Party and Fine Wines.
Due to health concerns with COVID-19 virus, private graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion with Reverend John Holst officiating.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
