It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Johnstone Andersen of Carbondale, Illinois, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on June 4, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Johnstone and Florence Johnstone; her spouse R. Clifton Andersen; her brother Norman Johnstone; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Fish, Warren Fish and William Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Andersen Lindberg; her son-in-law Phillip Lindberg of Carbondale; her grandchildren, Mallory Lindberg (Carl Gauthier) of Carbondale, Joshua Lindberg (Catherine) of Dallas, TX and Zachary Lindberg of Dallas, TX; her daughter Kathleen Andersen-Sheft of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Matthew Sheft of Columbia, SC, Kasey Kathleen Sheft of Nashville, TN., Kristen Leigh Sheft of Nashville, TN. and Kara Mae Sheft (Casey Hughes) of Nashville, TN.; her sisters-in-law, Mary Wilson and Maryann Johnstone of Bloomington, IL; and her niece Jennifer Jordan (Steve). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
