With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Crisp Knutzen of Carbondale, Illinois, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry L. Crisp Sr. and Violette Fairless Crisp of Marion; her husband Ernest Knutzen; her daughter Dr. Kimberly Brant Knutzen; her brother Harry L. Crisp II of Marion; her grandchildren, Daniel Knutzen, Johan Knutzen, Martin Knutzen, Hunter Knutzen, Charlie Knutzen, Kimberly Knutzen, Cole Knutzen, Vivian Knutzen, Fritz Steuer, Meg (Steuer) and Braig (Zach Braig); and her great grandchild Charles Braig.
For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to either or both: "Catholic Relief Services" and/or "The Goddard Chapel" of Rose Hill Cemetery.
