He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Vaughn and Mildred Vaughn (Hulsey); his former wife Marilyn Dunlap; and his son Bobby. He is survived by: his wife Judy Balmer Shepherd; his children, Renee Vaughn, Corey Shepherd (Michelle), Orion and Abby Shepherd Thompson (Dan) of Battle Ground, WA; his brothers, Mark Vaughn (Sue) of Cable, IL, Tim Vaughn (Dee Ann) and Bettendorf; his grandchildren, Lucas, Sabrina, Marianna, Reed, Trent, Daniel Jr., Nelsen and Blare; and his great grandchild Ezryn.
