It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Nowack of Carbon Cliff, Illinois, born in Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carter Payne and Alice Payne (Heath); her former spouses, Allen Shelton and Gale Price; her husband Elmer Nowack of Albany, IL; her children, Myrna Shelton and David Shelton; and her siblings, Robert Payne, Gary Payne and Janice Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Price, Daniel Price (Amy) of Albany, IL, Jeanette Price of Kewanee, IL and Virginia Shelton; her stepsons, David Nowack (Beth) and John Nowack; and her siblings, Carl Payne, Melvin Payne (Daryl) of LaCenter, WA and Virginia Brock of Galva, IL. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
