She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dale and Doris Hicks Aleknas. She is survived by: her husband Sean Burns; her son Dylan Burns (Madison Sullivan); her granddaughter Agnes Rooney Burns Sullivan of Seattle, WA; and her brother John Mark Aleknas (Denise) of McGaheysville, VA. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
