She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Gilmore and Elvira Gilmore (Reed); her son Jim Toombs; and her grandson Russell Glen. She is survived by: her husband Harold Chappel of Canton; her children, Kevin Dean Chappel of Havana and Wendy Wasson of Mesa, Arizona; and her half-brother Andy Gilmore. She is also survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
