He was predeceased by: his parents, William Walter and Lina Leora Taffar (Bennett); and his siblings, Walter Mearl Taffar, William Ray Dean Taffar, Bearl Taffar, Mary Jewell Whitener, Sybil Josephine Hallmark, Vivian Faye Upton and Shirley Pauline Upton.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Taffar (Sherri), Gene William Taffar (Eriko), Jennifer Henderson (Jason) and Rashanii Kickinghorse; his grandchildren, Joshua Cottingham, Emily Clark (Bryan), Baylee Henderson (Aislinn), Jenna Jo Henderson, Noah Henderson, Zachary Taffar, Elizabeth Taffar, Raven Taffar and Ian Taffar; and his great grandchild Morgen Cottingham. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
