She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruel Crouse and Elizabeth Crouse (Williams); her husband Chester E. "Chet" Thurman; and her siblings, James, Robert, Ruel, Virgil, William Crouse and Mary Reeder.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Thurman of Farmington and Barb Long (Mark) of Canton; her grandchildren, Jason Thurman (Brooke), Nicholas Stanley and April Allen (Joe); and her siblings, Ron Crouse (Nancy) of Fairview, Kenny Crouse (Maureen) of Alabama, Carroll Crouse (Joyce) of Macomb and Patricia Wood (Crouse) of Alabama. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
