She was predeceased by: her parents, Audley Mitchell and Sara Madeline Mitchell (Miers); her son Jim Pletz; and her brother Don Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Robert Pletz; her son Rich Pletz (Bridget) of Canton; her grandchildren, Madison and Carter Thompson (Paige); and her close friend Roland Pettit.
