It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Alberta Thomson Walker of Canton, Illinois, born in Galva, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard L. Thomson and Helen L. Thomson (Waters); and her brother Tom Thomson. She is survived by: her husband Jack Walker; her children, Mitchell Walker (Samantha) of Gladbrook, IA and Shelley Henderson (Dave) of Lenexa, KS; her grandchildren, Robert Walker, Liam Walker, Ashley Berkley (Aaron) and David Henderson; her great grandchild Lennon Grace; and her siblings, Willard P. Thomson and Margaret "Midge" Eaton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
