We are sad to announce that on August 2, 2020, at the age of 103, John Robert Burns Barclay of Canton, Illinois, born in Royalton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Barclay and Annie Barclay (Rayburn); and his wife Leila Hoyt. He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth Ellis (late Gayle) of Canton and Bonnie Williams (Jerry) of DuQuoin, IL; and his grandchildren, Scott Ellis, Jennifer Hagaman, Greg Ellis, Koreen Gray, Kelly Whitman, Michael Williams, Robert Williams and Brad Williams. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Compassus Hospice or American Heart Association.
