With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Daniel Walter (Canton, Illinois), born in Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on May 4, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Walter and Verne Walter (Oesterhaus) of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Gaskill; his sons, Kevin Walter (Tania) of Danvers, IL, Brian Walter of Janesville, WI and Adam Walter of Springfield, IL; and his grandchildren, Hope and Noelle.
Due to COVID-19 private graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton, IL.
