Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joann (Ritchey) Favorita of Canton, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 91, on May 21, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Lane and Helen Lane (Brooks); and her former husband William "Bill" S. Ritchey. She is survived by: her husband John Favorita of Peoria; her children, Blair S. Ritchey of Canton and Amy Jo McGinnis (Gail Louis) of East Peoria; and her grandson Trevor Patrick McGinnis of East Peoria.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Canton, or to "TAPS," Tazewell Animal Protective Society, a No- Kill animal shelter located in Pekin.
