With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Lou Poe (Canton, Illinois), who passed away on April 28, 2020 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emma Lou Poe to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, A. J. Shumaker and Marie Martin. She is survived by: her husband James E. Poe; her sister June Walljasper; her children, Jerielle Young (Wendy Walsh) of Brunswick, Maine and Martin Poe (Rosanne Poe) of Burlington, Wisconsin.; her granddaughter Julianna; and also Aislinn. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Given the current Coronavirus pandemic, plans for a celebration of her life will be shared at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Emmy's name to the Altruistic Club of Canton, and sent in care of her daughter, Jerielle Young, 941 Mere Point Road, Brunswick, ME 04011.
