He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hinkle and Sylvia Hinkle (Sandberg); his wife Christina Upton; and his brother Ed Hinkle. He is survived by: his children, David Hinkle (Liz) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Patrick Hinkle of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Angie Rodden (Tank) of Canton, Ryan Hinkle (Keegen) of Canton, Nick Hinkle (Jen) of Chillicothe and Megan Hart of Colorado; his grandchildren, Emily, Maguire, Maverick, Hudson, Holden, Gracie, Elaina, William, Henry, Molly, Sydney, Braden and Dallyn; and his sister Brenda Gott of Des Moines, Iowa.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory (1995 N Main St, Canton, IL 61520). The military honors will be held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
