He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Maas and Hilda Maas (Uppinghouse); his brothers, Johnny Maas and Ronnie Maas; and his niece Angie Schwagmeyer.
He is survived by: his sister Sherry Schwagmeyer (Mike); his sister-in-law Kay Maas; and his nieces and nephews, Ginger Bocke (John), Kelly Maas, Gail Maas, Ann Paben (Greg), Ryan Maas, Lori Henley (James), Corey Schwagmeyer, Kim Niekamp (Luke) and Ali Schwagmeyer-Belger (Courtney). He is also survived by Numerous great-nieces, and great nephews and other relatives.
