It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beulah Marie Lane of Canton, Illinois, born in Carthage, Illinois, who passed away on October 31, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeke Shipman and Alleyne Shipman (Smith); and her brothers, Ronald Shipman and Wayne Shipman. She is survived by: her husband William E. Lane; her children, Rhonda Weers (Tom) of Canton, Karen Churchill (Norm) of Canton, Bruce Lane (Amy) of Bloomington, IL and Cyndie Rees (Kevin) of New Albany, IN; her grandchildren, Sara Hammond, Jean Jockisch (Chris), Aaron Haacke, TJ Weers, Mary Rees, Justin Lane and Kevin Rees; her great grandchildren, Tay Hammond, Christopher Jockisch and Lilah De Jesus; her brother Michael "Butch" Moore (Missy); and her sisters-in-law, Joan Baker and Sandy Shipman.
Cremation rites will be held with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL and a celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
